System Design: Largest Part size 3' W X 5' H X 8' L, Largest Part weight 150#, Profile Opening 4' W X 6' H, Design Line speed 12 FPM (variable), Product throughput 10,800 #/hr, Coating Liquid, electrical 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Cycle, Type of gas Natural Gas @ 5 PSI, Water type, City water. It is comprised of the following sections: Flame Treatment Booth, Protection Tunnel, 30' Prime Coat Robotic Booth, 120' Flash Tunnel, 30' Base Coat Robotic Booth, 60' Flash Tunnel, 30' Clear Coat Robotic Booth, 120' Flash Tunnel. The booth system is provided with 1 fresh air and 3 re-circulated air houses. The fresh and re-circulated air supply houses are located inside at plant floor level. The spray booth plenums are split plenum design, utilizing blanket panel filters the full length of the booth. Filter media is replaceable from the inside of the spray booth plenum. Air supply into the plenum will be designed to insure uniform down draft. The wet scrubber venturi section is located at the plant floor level. A water re-circulation system including a paint sludge flotation tank for the wet scrubbers is located below the flash tunnel #3. Sludge is continuously removed via Palin Unit. The flash tunnels are supplied with a combination of fresh and re-circulated air through filters in the ceiling. This air will provide an in-draft condition to the entrance and exit of each booth.
